LedgerCheck does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your data.

LedgerCheck is a browser extension that reviews financial statements for errors and inconsistencies. It is designed so that your information never leaves your computer.

What this means

• Everything runs on your device. The financial statements you load — Excel/CSV files, PDFs, images, or pasted text — are read and analyzed entirely inside your own browser. They are never uploaded to any server.
• No network connection. All of the software the extension needs (spreadsheet parsing, PDF reading, and OCR) is bundled inside the extension. Its security policy blocks it from making any network request, and it requests no browser permissions.
• No tracking or analytics. The extension contains no analytics, advertising, telemetry, or third-party code that phones home.
• Nothing leaves your computer, so there is nothing for us to see, retain, sell, or disclose.

Data retention

Because no data is ever sent anywhere, none is retained. If you uninstall the extension, no data remains on any server — none was ever collected.
